Less is more. This concept of minimalism centers around valuing what is important and it underpins the annual Better with Less packaging design competition. Organised by the Metsä Group, the focus is on creating great packaging that generates zero waste.
This global event is open to students and more experienced innovators who can consider the entire lifecycle of their packaging design ideas. Could you create a packaging solution in a resource-efficient way?
Revolutionalise the Packaging Industry
Rethinking existing packaging design and producing something that could revolutionalise the packaging industry is a tall order. With packaging causing so much pollution, it is, however, a priority. Innovations in packaging material and processes are always being developed and now is your opportunity to get involved.
The Better With Less judging panel are experts in their field. They are looking for fresh thinking in the following three categories:
Convenience – for e-commerce packaging, takeaways and deliveries
Experience – in cosmetics, electronics, fashion & food products
Wildcard – for entries that don’t fit into the other categories
Three winning designers will be rewarded with a financial prize and the opportunity for a student to win an internship with the Metsä Group.
