Nostalgic Packaging Returns

Are you a chocoholic? If so, you may be surprised to know that the UK’s best-selling chocolate brand, Cadbury’s, is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. It’s amazing to think that the company originated in 1824!

To mark the occasion, Cadbury’s is bringing back Dairy Milk Bar memories. A series of collectable, nostalgic packaging designs will be available to buy throughout the year. See how the typography has developed over the years, whilst the essence of the original packaging design remains. Additional artwork, telling the Cadbury’s story will be found on the inside of the packaging.

Dairy Milk is far from the only iconic product. Are you a fan of Flake, Crème Eggs, Milk Tray or Roses? If you have a family photo in the archives, which features retro Cadbury’s packaging design, you might be in luck. The company is requesting pictures from the past for their marketing campaign which focuses on keeping treasured memories alive.

This theme is also reflected in the company’s commitment to make a £200,000 donation to Alzheimer’s research in 2024.
