This product is one of many fresh ideas that could revolutionise the beauty industry. Back in the 1960’s The Body Shop took an ethical stance on cruelty-free beauty and this made people curious about what went into their products. That same curiosity now drives sustainable purchasing decisions.

Embracing Refill Solutions

Aware of public opinion and the data on environmental impact*, there is an appetite to embrace refill solutions for cosmetics, skincare, haircare and hygiene products. This shift is also endorsed by the British Beauty Council.

Brands including L’Occitane have introduced refill stations in stores and others including Faith in Nature sell wholesale to refill shops. Fussy™ refillable deodorant got a significant boost after successfully gaining investment on Dragon’s Den. Fortunately, innovations in packaging design, like Daisy Top, will expand the opportunities. It will be interesting to see the take-up of new packaging solutions.
