Have you Entered the Paper Industry Gold Awards?
From toilet rolls to cardboard boxes, many of life’s essentials come from the paper industry.
The process from harvesting trees from responsibly managed forests to recycling paper fibres is constantly evolving. Fresh thinking, innovations and consumer demand have made the industry adapt and become increasingly sustainable.
Paper Industry Gold Awards
The Paper Industry Gold Award aim to recognise excellence. Organised by the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) and the Paper Gold Medal Association, there are several categories to enter.
Recycling – a company that has made recycling integral to paper or board production and has enhanced recycling practices
Net Zero – a company that is proactively investing in renewables and efficiencies in its journey towards decarbonisation
Community Engagement – a company that is actively working to have a positive effect on the public
Health & Safety – a company that has made significant improvements to working conditions
Sustainable Innovation – a company with a fresh approach to improving supply chain and production sustainability
Skills – a company that has invested in training and developing staff, as well as making the paper industry more appealing to new recruits
Gold Award – an individual who has made a significant contribution to the paper industry through personal excellence and achievement
The awards were opened in November 2021, but there is still time to nominate your company, a supplier, client or an outstanding member of your team. Nominations can be made for more than one category, but don’t delay, the deadline for submissions is Friday 11 February.
